Randy Pausch passed away this week.  He had pancreatic cancer and decided to live out the remainder of his life lecturing on finding the joy in your life.  He also put out a book “Last Lecture”.  I heard bits and pieces of his lecture over the course of his quest and I was moved by every word.  He was so brave and resilient.  He accepted his reality and eventuality, yet he didn’t roll over and “let it happen” to him.  He embarked his wisdom on those of us who listened and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to have heard him prior to his passing, even if it was in small doses.  I think I may have to purchase and read the book now, in his honor.  I think there is a lot I can learn from the entire story, rather than in parts.  May his family be blessed and find the strength to live beautifully after his passing.  I am sure he would want that.
