Sophia Patrillo died today.  I used to love watching The Golden Girls when I was little.  I always thought Sophia was the funniest one.  Her real name is Estelle Getty.  She was 84.  The last portion of her life, she had dementia and it really seemed rather sad.  I saw a few of her final interviews, and you could tell she had met some challenges.  But, I would much rather remember her for her vivacious role as Sophia Patrillo and wish her family well.  I send them prayers and sympathy.
